Description

I took advantage of an early opportunity to capture the core of our home galaxy this weekend as it rose above the horizon, not long before the rising Sun washed it out.

I stood by my mount adjusting the camera every frame for about 45 30 second pictures that I stitched together for this image. The upper left area wasn't able to be blended very well as the sun was already starting to light the sky as I finished. So this is about 25 frames stitched and blended.
