Artist's Description

Sedona is a city that straddles the county line between Coconino and Yavapai counties

in the northern Verde Valley region of the U.S. state of Arizona. As of the 2010

census the population was 10,031.
Sedona's main attraction is its stunning array of red sandstone formations, the Red

Rocks of Sedona. The formations appear to glow in brilliant orange and red when

illuminated by the rising or setting sun. The Red Rocks form a breathtaking backdrop

for everything from spiritual pursuits to the hundreds of hiking and mountain biking

trails.
Sedona is named after Sedona Arabelle Miller Schnebly (1877–1950), the wife of the

city's first postmaster, who was celebrated for her hospitality and industriousness.

About Bill Barber

Bill Barber

As a photographer, I am truely blessed to live in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. This geographic area is rich in photogenic scenery and fabulous wildlife. Mother nature at her finest! An avid photographer since 1974 I have had the incredible opportunity to travel the world while serving over 20 years in the United States Navy. Having lived and visited so many different places gives me a unique perspective on nature and wildlife of regions I visit today. My gallery hosts many genres of photography, from landscapes to wildlife photography of birds and woodland creatures. These durable prints will be the perfect addition to any room in your home or office.
